Newspapers in Britain


National daily newspapers in Britain are of two kinds: quality papers and tabloids (popular papers). Although some people disapprove of the tabloids, more people buy them than serious newspapers. The Sun, which is a tabloid, is the biggest selling newspaper in Britain.

Broadsheets: the "Guardian", the "Independent", the "Times", "Financial Times", "Daily Telegraph".

Tabloids: "Daily Mail", "Daily Express", "Today", "Daily Mirror", "Daily Star", the "Sun", "Daily Sport", "Morning Star".
